I started my almost 14 year prison term in Nevada before paroling to the Feds. While in federal custody art became one of the many forms of therapy I grasped onto. With all the chaos surrounding me I had to find those outlets but while inside those dark places I made it a mission to come out and use my voice and story to initiate change. I am now on the board of directors for the loved ones coalition which deals mostly with the federal system and reporting to Washington on policy breaks and human rights violations in the BOP. I completed my sentence 8 months ago and am trying to inspire others to know and understand that anything is possible
