*Apex Predator* Art by Albert Dawson

My name is All Dawson, #0035665. I have been incarcerated since 1990. I was 18 when arrested and have been here the whole time. Throughout that time I have not been idle. I have educated myself through schooling, GED, High School Diploma and some college, plus I have taken an endless supply of self help programs.

   In all that time I have honed my artistic skills and learned many different styles of art, from pen and pencil drawing to painting with acrylic on canvas and large murals to learning automotive painting and graphic design with an airbrush. My art has literally kept me sane in here where at times it can be quite insane. Artwork for me is quite therapeutic and it also keeps my mind and hands busy. Working with Convict Clothing has given me a focus which I have not had in some time. It has also given me an outlet I did not have in which to share my art with others.
